Leo is a junior at Piedmont High School captivated by medicine, neuroscience, and the science of human health. Inspired by a fascination with how the human body works—particularly the brain—he co-founded the Piedmont Pre-Med Club in 2023 and has since rebuilt and expanded it with Julia and Sophia into a thriving community of students pursuing medical careers.

Through the Pre-Med Club, Leo creates experiences that bring medicine to life. He arranges visiting physicians and surgeons to share their experiences, teaches hands-on clinical skills including suturing and wound care, and coordinates CPR and First Aid certification training. He believes deeply that peer mentorship and direct clinical exposure are essential for building both knowledge and genuine passion for medicine.

Leo extends this commitment to education beyond the Pre-Med Club, tutoring elementary through high school school students in mathematics and science. He’s a skilled acoustic guitarist and an active member of the Piedmont Troubadours a professional acapella group. When he’s not pursuing his medical interests, you’ll find him rock climbing, preparing gourmet meals, or learning volumes of trivia of questionable veracity.
